IFA 2018 Berlin, what it is about
IFA Berlin is a fair which takes place every year at the Messe Berlin in Berlin (as we announced in February, this year it was from 31st August to 5th September 2018). It is one of the most ancient and important events in the world for technology: approximately 2000 exhibitors from all over the world took place this year to the trade show .
An interesting aspect is that this fair is not only for technicians and professionals but also young people, families or technology lovers attend it: everybody here is able to understand and try out new technologies and wearable.
Stay tuned to this article and read about the most interesting news launched at the IFA Trade Show 2018.
8k Oled TV: the world’s first model by LG
In IFA Berlin, one of the most remarkable high tech news, which has been introduced, is 8k TV screens. They have 88-inches of pixels, rich colors and deep blacks. It means a so high resolution and so real scenes that you seem to be able to enter the screen and to walk inside. Everything is super, except for the cost because this kind of screen costs more than most cars on the road. It is also fascinating to notice the OLED technology they have: it is a screen which comes from natural products, and it is as thin as a mirror.
B&O’s Beosound Edge: design and speaker in one
At IFA, Bang&Olufsen introduces its Beosound Edge. It is a home speaker shaped as a 3D coin and it could be an extraordinary piece of art and contemporary design, with a black matte fabric top and aluminum sides. According to its designer Michael Anastassiades, it “sits on the edge of consumer electronics and gallery-worthy sculpture”.
You can place it on your floor to play music or you may hang it up on the wall. You actually can rock the speaker back and forth, to increase and decrease the volume, with the speaker rolling back to the original position when you have done.
Wireless headphones to turn your crowded commute into a silent place
At IFA 2018, the Japanese Sony exhibits a lot of new techs. Among the most exciting ones, there are WH-1000XM3 Hearings, a wireless model of hearings thought to cancel noises which surround you, with an extremely advanced noise elimination technology.
The HD Noise Canceling Processor QN1 allows you to cancel both low-frequency noise (such as those produced by an airplane passing over our heads) as well as those in medium to high frequencies (street noise, for example), thus ensuring you a very high-quality listening experience, without background noise. They are expected to have a 30-hour battery, with a Quick Charging Function, providing up to 5 hours playback after just 10 minutes of recharge.
